I’m so proud to be able to say that I have been living my dream job being the owner of Syd’s Kids for over a decade starting this empire at only 16 years old! I have been the proud owner of Jack Russells since I was a toddler ready to take on their leashes. I have had an extremely strong passion for animals since I was born.

I am a current graduate of Durham College in Animal Care. I am educated in animal behavior, nutrition for dogs and cats, exotic and domestic animal sciences, emergency animal procedures and how to react to them and many more related topics. I received the first ever Entrepreneurship Award when I graduated high school as well as a grant from the government to start my own business!

I never turn down a learning opportunity! I am very determined when it comes to taking on rescue dogs, shy/timid/reactive dogs.
